How you sign in
Your email comes from Google and cannot be changed here. MyMon never sees, asks for or stores a password.
Your expenses
Stored under your account, not in this browser. Signing out on one device leaves everything untouched on the others.
A spreadsheet with real columns, sized and sortable — opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
What rings the bell
The bell sits in the top corner of every page.
These choices are kept with your account rather than in this browser, so they hold on every device you sign in on. There is no Save button: a switch that needs confirming is a switch that lies about its own position, so each one writes as you press it.
Somebody wants to be friends
A request arriving, or somebody you asked saying yes.
One switch for both, because they are two ends of the same conversation and nobody wants half of it.
You are invited to a group
Somebody asks you to share a group with them.
With this off the invitation still waits for you under Groups — you just will not be told the moment it arrives.
Somebody comments on your expense
A reply to one of your own entries in a shared group.
The one worth keeping on: a reply to your own entry is usually a question about something you wrote down.
Any comment in your groups
Every reply in a group you are in, not only yours.
The chattiest of the four, and the first to turn off if the bell starts ringing too often.
On this device
Whether this device also buzzes while MyMon is closed.
The switches above decide what reaches the bell inside MyMon; this one decides what reaches the device itself. It is per device, not per account — your phone and your laptop each answer for themselves.
